If you’ve seen one Elf, you seen them all, right? Not so. Elves, have the second highest number of subraces or ethnicities of all the peoples of Mystara. And the Belcadiz are a great example of this.
The Belcadiz Elves are found the Principality of Belcadiz, which is part of the greater Principalities of Glantri. Belcadiz is a civilized nation ruled by elves. These elves specialize in many things not normally associated with elves.

The country if famous for its Metallic Alloys, searched for worldwide because of their strength, lightness, and enchantability. The metals are mined in Belcadiz by the elves, and then forged together. Their swords, and armor are made with this metal which costs 50% extra, but are half the weight of their normal equivilent.
The country grows fruit that it turns into wines, and these are sold all around the known world. They are also famous for their lace cloth, which is of the finest quality. They delight in sports like Bull fighting, and Running with Bulls. They delight in an unusual sport they call “fútbol” where two teams kick a leather ball around a field.
Belcadiz Elves are some of the most “Human-like” elves in the world. So much so that many other tribes of elves question whether they are elves, or half-elves. A standard Belcadiz elf has curly, or wavy black hair, and the men are known for short beards. They wear colorful, lacy clothing.
A Belcadiz warrior’s favorite weapon is the rapier or the saber, and they often prefer to not wear armor, so that they can show off their swashbuckling ability.

Belcadiz Elves (BECMI/ OSE)
Belcadiz Elves use the standard Elf rules for BECMI with one exception: If using a Rapier or a dagger only, Belcadiz Elves gain the Parry option at 1st level.
Parry: This is a Fighter Combat Option maneuver normally available at 9th level to fighters. With this
maneuver. the fighter does not make any attack roll. Instead, he blocks incoming attacks for the entire combat round; all enemies attacking him suffer a – 4 penalty 10 hit him with melee and thrown (but not missile) weapons.
