Yarthmont 26th (Notes from the Game)

Update:
Aklair returned. He had previously had a wild-magic surge that temporarily activated a mirror, when he entered, he was transported to the current time. (As far as he remembers, nothing transpired during this interval)

The team was equally concerned about the directions they could take.
1) Ivory was missing and she is Fang’s newly discovered Sister.
2) The Wand is needed to save Tuma, and possibly Ko’ar. But also it could wreck havok by cancelling out the power of the gate under the Comeback Inn.
3) The Immortals had asked the team to assemble the remaining armies of the worlds, and they would need to prepare this for a war against the Oard in the future.
4) Julius and Adriana had been missing at “GreySkull” for an awfulyl long time.
5) they still needed to collect the remaining 4 maulet peices to activate the gate to return in time to set things right.

A temporary solution was decided upon. Ko’ar Returned to the Ark to recruit Kiera & Gnubnaver. He trusted them, and instructed them to take his brother Ro’ar to rescue the Wand from the Keep of Night. He logically believed that Ivory would be there as well, and that they could rescue her at the same time.

Then, He convinced Fang (In a conversation not roleplayed in the session) to trust them to the task as the main team entered the Mirror with Myoshiman writing. Ko’ar needed confirmation that his brother was or was not lying about his heritage as royalty.

When they exited the Mirror then found themselves in an abandoned little temple with wooden pillars, slanted shingled roof and paper walls. They discovered some writing on the doorway overhead that indicated (By use of the Myoshiman-Common Dictionary) that the temple was dedicated to a Rakastan Immortal – Konomaru, Patron of Honorable Combat, and Samurai. The team exited the temple and began to move the stonework and miniature statuettes around looking for secrets.

They were attacked by NInjas hiding in the treeline just beyond the temple grounds. The ninja attakced only by missile weapon, sharpened metal stars. Not taking any of this crap, Zipaz Threw a fireball that set the forest ablaze.

The Ninja continued their barage of attacks from afar, but Fang’s Crossbow, and Aklair’s second Fireball fell 3 of the Ninja before the rest could be very effective. Galladin Summoned his Fey companion in a Cave Bear form.

The remaining Ninja retreated.
Then the sky instantly clouded over and a cold rain began, which put out the fire.
Elizabeth noticed an old rakasta priest of some sort, enter the temple grounds from the other side, and begin meditating. In true Ziaz Form, he asked “How you Doin?” which was ignored.

The Priest looked directly at Ko’ar and welcomed him home, thinking he was his brother Ro’ar. When Father Catura discovered his mistake he began to look very uncomfortable. He invited them all into the temple, which had repaired itself after the attack, and now housed a short table to sit at with 10 tea cups and a teapot with steaming tea.

Father Catura answered what he could abotu Ko’ar’s Family. How his Uncle Todoroki had usurped the throne and set the Nation of Myoshima into a civil war 20 years ago. 18 years ago he had won and assumed the throne. The Samurai of the Katamura Family had retreated to the lands of the Korobokuru, also known as the Kzinti, just beyond the borders of Myoshima. There they had been planning attacks and gaining troops to retake the country inthe name of the princes.

The team asked Father Catura for help going to them, and so traveled by “Transport via Plant” instantly moving from one of the charred trees, to a a vibrant one on the edge of the Korobokuru grasslands. They hiked onwards to the closest town, where a local “Dwarf-Cat” offered to take them to the capital city.

On the way they noticed their world hanging in the sky above, but it was not moving. And so the Day-Night cycle on Myshima was disturbed. However the Invisible moon did not seem to be affected by the time-lock-paradox that the world of Mystara was stuck in.

They stopped for the “night” and had rabbit for dinner. Zephyrus kept watch and her detect evil & Good abiltity kicked in, she could sense a presence that was not evil, but was malicious.

She woke the rest before pursuing, and came face to fur with an oddly clean white rabbit. It stared at her, smiled (Which is wierd for a rabbit), twitched it’s nose and hooped away. When Zeph tried to pursue, she found her legs tangled in the long grass, and nearly fell.

Elizabeth tried to pursue with similar results (Her pants fell down and she tripped over them)

When Pan Thanar tried to pursue, he was cursed with Rabbit ears.
